Event insurance cover

Event insurance consists of various types of cover. You decide which cover best suits your needs:

  • Cancellation
If your event has to be unexpectedly cancelled, interrupted or rescheduled, this cover ensures you are reimbursed for the costs incurred.
  • Adverse weather
This is additional cover that can be added to the cancellation cover. If the event has to be cancelled, interrupted or rescheduled due to adverse weather, you will be reimbursed for the costs incurred. This cover must be requested at least 14 days before the start of the event.
  • Non-appearance
This is additional cover you can add to the cancellation cover. This cover reimburses you if an event has to be cancelled because an important person (such as an artist) cannot attend. You do need to indicate in advance the persons for which you want to take out this cover.

Event insurance

Event insurance protects your organisation against all sorts of things that can go wrong in the context of an event, such as extreme weather conditions, problems with the permit, an artist who is ill and cancels, or, for example, a claim from an attendee. With a good event insurance policy, there's no reason to worry as you will be reimbursed by the insurer.

Take out event insurance right away so you can get on with organising an unforgettable event, stress-free!

  • Equipment
This cover ensures reimbursement of any damage to or theft of equipment. This applies to items that belong to you or your organisation, items that have been rented, and items for which you are responsible during the event. Cover is in place during the event, as well as during transportation to and from the event. This cover must be requested at least 14 days before the start of the event.
  • Liability
This cover ensures reimbursement of costs incurred if your company causes damage to property or people, and you are held liable.
  • Personal accidents
This cover ensures that medical expenses are reimbursed, or benefits are paid to the individual or next of kin if an accident occurs during the event.
  • Cash money
This cover provides reimbursement if cash is stolen during the event, or counterfeit banknotes are received.
  • Loss of revenues
This cover ensures that you are reimbursed for any expected profits you lose if your event has to be cancelled or interrupted.
